ICE, Immigration Terror, and the Benefits of a Real Climate Commission

Currently we detain hundreds of people on a Superfund cleanup site. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is the lead agency conducting the cleanup. This land is too toxic for residential use yet Tacoma permits the GEO Group to maintain a detention center there. A strong Climate Commission would prevent people from being incarcerated on the Tideflats.
